The Winter Warz Rap Battle is of course the brainchild of 194 Entertainment.

With less than 2 weeks to go before the battle, 194ENT's main lady, Fadzai Chiweshe said that everything was going according to plan and that all is set for an event worth remembering.
"The preparations for the event are at an advanced stage and we are good to go. We have gone above and beyond to make this event spectacular in every way possible and I am sure those coming through to the show will bare testimony to that", she said.

Headlining this year's edition are artists such as king Aktive, Whitney Cash , F.O.E , Ulleni and Lee Ivy, just to name but a few.

The Winter Warz Rap Battle is meant to give the local hiphop community a platform to not only showcase their various talents but empower them as well.
"The Winter Warz Rap Battle is a hip hop battle that is held annually and the concept of the competition is to empower emcees by giving them prizes that will help them push their art and help them grow.
"The goal for this particular event is to help artists develop and in the long-run we intend to incorporate other elements such as beatboxing, dance, deejaying and even beatmaking", said the CEO.

According to Chiweshe, the winner of this year's battle is set to walk away with a videoshoot, ten track album production, beats, a photoshoot, performance at the 2017 Zimhip hop awards, branded tshirts, caps, and profiling among other things.

She also confirmed to Urban Craft magazine that the judges will be revealed on the day of the event and that the special guests will include Anonzi Xnder, Aldrian 'Beefy' Harrison, Fun f, Boy Tricky, klasiq and Casper Beats, to mention but a few.

Interested artists artists will be happy to know that registration is still in progress and that they too can be afforded a chance to show their worth.
"Registration for the battle is still in progress so we don't know yet how many emcees will be participating but we already have quite a considerable number on our line-up for the event.
"There is always room for more artists to come through and show us what they got", said Chiweshe.
