Sharon Siya bullish ahead of Debut Album Launch

Singing sensation Sharon Siya says that all is set for the launch of her eargerly anticipated debut album, 'My voice, Your instrument' this July 15th at the Theatre in The Park arena (Harare Gardens).
"The preparations are going very well. The band is very excited, jovial, energetic and well prepared for this Glorious day. A lot of things are going as planned in terms of bringing the vision of this launch to life.
"This is going to be a great day of fun, dance, praise and worship. A great day of fellowship, we are giving all honour to the Lord Jesus Christ. Everybody can look forward to some wonderful groovy sounds from a professional live band", she said.

According to the 25 year old, a lot of work had gone on behind the scenes and she herself felt more mentally and spiritually prepared as the day of the album launch drew closer.
"There has indeed been a lot of behind the scenes work involved and thus far, a lot of ground work has been laid, from the event management, band rehearsals, team bonding, marketing and sales to the spiritual connection and prayers.
"I feel very prepared emotionally and physically. I have this joyful feeling because the stage is my happy place. The most important thing for me is to be spiritually prepared and to be spiritually aligned to God's voice and purpose. I'm at peace because I know the Lord Jesus is working through me", assured the songstress.

The 8-track album is made up of such tracks as Take Control, Jesus You Reign ,Victory, Freedom, Nothing is hidden, Holy, Jehovah Raah, and Halleluja.
"These songs are very personal and spiritual. The album contains songs of reverence, worship, praise and dance. Each song tells a story and carries a message that is connected to a Biblical scripture.
"The main theme running throughout the album is that of REVIVAL. I am ministering about the glory of Jesus and I am empowering all believers and all the people into pressing in and pressing on in faith despite the circumstances surrounding them", said Siya.

Speaking to Urban Craft earlier on in the year, this is what she had to say about the album title, My voice, Your instrument'.
"The title to the album itself was inspired when I received my calling into gospel ministry. The Lord spoke to me about my mission and he commissioned me to walk and talk in the way he commanded me. Therefore as a servant of Christ, I dedicated this album for God’s glory. This is also a reminder of why I am in ministry and who I am doing it for", said Siya.

Sharon will of course be ably supported by Marbel Madondo on the night of the launch.
