Music an 'Awakening' for Reel Tingz

For upcoming musician Prince Respect Nhawu, better known as Reel tingz, music is an awakening, one that he uses to not only inspire his listerners but also bring them closer to The Lord.
"My main goal is to bring something new to the market. God is ready to use anyone who's ready to be used by Him.
"The music awakens the human soul to the reality of an invisible 'father' who is ready to participate in the day to day running of their lives. The songs are doctrinally 'sober' as well as morally acceptable for teaching, inspiration and worship", said Reel Tingz.

The 25 year old musician's journey started way back in 2010 and for the past 5 years his career has been groomed under the supervision of Kingdom Swag.
"The way that God uplifted my life and still does so every day gave me the motivation that I needed to share that same upliftment in my music. I hope that through my music I can bring hope to the hopeless", he said.

Having grown up listening to local music icons such as James chimombe, Oliver Mtukudzi, The Four Brothers, Lenard dembo and Leonard Zhakata, to mention but a few, Reel Tingz said that these musical legends inpired him through their motivational songs and his mission is to do the same for the next generation.
""On my first album Shandisa Mukana, the aim was to motivate and encourage zimbabweans to work. To plan and pursue their dreams, it does not only apply to christian spheres but could be relevant to other sectors of our society as well.
" Inspiring other people is the backbone of my career and the reason why I do music", he said.

Reel Tingz of course launched his debut, Shandisa Mukana late last year at Chitungwiza hotel (fomerly Nyamutamba) and it has gone a long way in establishing his brand of music over these last few months.
"I have composed and recorded more than 30songs already and so far so good. All that is left is the markerting side of it all so that my music can get out there.
"I have shot 8 videos, 4 of which were from my debut album 'Shandisa Mukana' and they are available Youtube. The tracks are Mighty God, Everyday(Handimbochema), Beautiful life and Shandisa Mukana.

Among his major highlights, Reel Tingz mentioned being part of Kingdom Swag 2010, partnering with Arise Africa, ministering at 'Nu birth Nu face^ concerts, taking part in the Hoza Moya concert while at the same time sharing the stage with the likes of Tatenda seth Mahachi and Pastor G.
Also on his list of memorable moments was the City Fathers dinner which was attended by Baba Mechanic Manyeruke, Methius Mhere and Tembalami Praise. The young man has ministered at several Christian events including the Kabod 'Stir Up Your Gift' and Cathedral of faith 'back to school' concert earlier this year. Reel Tingz has also perfomed at the Zimbabwe Open University's 'Miss Zou 2017' and recently he did a tribute song and video for the Late Cde Chinx which is doing well on youtube

It is no secret that the music industy demands a lot and artists have to do everything they possibly can in order to stay afloat. Reel Tingz seems ready for the challenge ahead and is willing to put in the work.
"I am working on my next album titled 'My Life' which we are releasing in August. Besides that i have plenty of other surprises in the pipeline for the fans that include a track featuring a dancehall artist.
"I will be dedicating my time to marketing my album, shooting videos while also looking for the next big collabo", said Reel Tingz.

Judging by the relative success of his previous effort, the young man's upcoming album is definitely something that we can all look forward to as it promises to pick up where he left off on Shandisa Mukana.
