Teban Cee recruits Trevor Dongo for latest single

Afro-dancehall singer, Teban Cee is set to drop a brand new jam this end of July
The song which features Trevor Dongo and produced by Quazor is an uptempo song with a sing along chorus that incorporates elements of Rnb , Dancehall and Afropop.
"The song is about how the girl excites a guy whenever she's around and the guy starts to use acronyms to describe that excitement etc "That excitement whenever power is back after load shedding.
"The lyrics of the song revolve around both the artists Teban Cee and Trevor Dongo telling a girl how much they appreciate her and also talking about the kind of joy/excitement she brings whenever she is around", said the singer who was born Simbarashe Edgar Jacha.

According to Teban Cee, the single is part of an upcoming EP and is already receiving rave reviews here at home and abroad.
"Despite the fact that Babe Unospaka hasn't been officially released, the song has already received positive reviews from critics. Babe Unospaka is of course the second single off my forthcoming EP titled Patience. Named the Ep Patience after my late mother. I released the 1st single in June titled Kumbira Kumbira Chirema and it happens to be doing so well", he said.

With a wide range of collaborations already under his belt, from Massicker aka King Mas, Peppery, Sha sha, Miz Dee, Clint, Gyptian, Wizza to The MeL and Sophie, to mention but a few, the singer said that more was to come.
"Besides Babe Unospaka, I'm working on some more collaborations and I have one coming out soon with one of the top afro artists from Nigeria, so hopefully that will be dropping next accompanied by a music video", said Teban Cee.

Jacha described his latest collabo with Trevor Dongo as the fulfilment of a longtime wish and spoke glowingly of the singer.
"It was all through Facebook, have always been a huge fan of Trevor Dongo since secondary level and his hit single "AMAI" made me fall so much in love with his music and it was always my wish to have him on a track.
"It took me more than 3 years to get this feature and I am very grateful , it really felt so good to have such a big artist like him in the same studio working on a song together, can't even explain the energy in the studio that day lol Now I have managed to build up a strong relationship with Trevor, we more like family , brothers!", he said.

But just who is Teban Cee?

Teban Cee started music at a very tender age , he used to be part of the school choir at the age 10. He later recorded his 1st single titled "Kutsime/By The River" produced by Dr Clarence in Chitungwiza.
The song was more of a love letter about a young village boy telling a young girl who he was interested in to meet him by the river side.

He then left Zimbabwe for South Africa in 2008 and though many hurdles had to be overcome to enter the music industry, these adversities were no match for the young artist.

After working with a number of producers and artists , he had the experience of running with Jamaican international artist Massicker aka King Mas" on a single titled Vibesy produced by Jusa Dementor. The artist has also collaborated with a number of international producers and artists as well and it saw him being nominated for the best upcoming artist on the South African Mzansi Reggae Awards 2014 and Best Artist In The Diaspora on the Zimdancehall Awards 2015. Teban has also worked extensively in South Africa and has shared the stage with both local and international acts, among them Sizzla Kalonji , Charly Black , Luciano , Nkulee Dube , Black Dillinger, Anthony B and many more.
