'Zunza' collaboration, Tapfumanashe's long-awaited breakthough....?

In the music industry today, there's quite a number of ways that an artist can make a name for themselves.
One sure way of doing so is of course finding the right collaboration!
A lot of today's stars made it big on the local and international market through collaborations.
Zimbabwean rapper Tapfumanashe Rujeko recently scored his own coup of soughts by collaborating with celebrated South African kwaito king L'vovo Derrango.
The two artists came together on a sizzling hot single titled Zunza (Shake) which is surely set to get feet shuffling and rumps shaking on the dancefloor this summer.
"The song is a smashing dance tune which celebrates the two cultures Zim and South in song and dance.its strictly for the groovers.
"We recorded the song at the KalawaJazmee, the biggest record label in Southern Africa if not Africa", said Tapfumanashe, speaking to Urban Craft upon his recent visit back home.

The question on everyone's lips would no doubt be how this 'groundshaking' collaboration came about..
"Following the release of my demo, a lot of South African artists got interested in working with me...that's how this collaboration happened", he said.

"We do not have an official release date as yet but the song is the first release from a series of collaborations that I'm working on since my relocation down south", added Rujeko.

That series of collaborations also includes a track with local rapper Xq and another with South African singer, Lungelo.
"Localy I am looking forward to a recording with the likes of Xq..we have already completed the much of the behind the scenes work and all we are waiting for is a chance to record the vocals..
"My next release is almost ready for the market...it's a smooth soul rnb track that I did with a guy called Lungelo..who is upcoming and gaining huge ground in Durban", said the rapper.
