He might be upcoming but Kenyan musician Asen B has already shared the stage with some of Africa's finest and by the look of things, he is only just getting started!
It is an experience he simply describes as being 'wonderful'.
"I have shared moments on stage with most of East African celebrities,  I have shared stage with Chameleon from Uganda, Diamond Platnums from Tanzania and Sauti Sol from Kenya among others. The experience has been nothing short of wonderful", said Asen B in a recent chat with Urban Craft magazine from his base in Kenya.

The impressive singer/songwriter who originates from western Kenya actually started out as a rapper but eventually found his way to singing.
"I first fell in love with music at a young age, I engaged in several choir sessions in church and at school. After I graduated from high school I went straight into the studio I loved the experience and I have been doing music ever since", he said.

As to where he draws inspiration from, the young man said he owed it all to his surroundings and everyday life.
"My inspiration is drawn from personal experiences, stories from other people or sometimes just my own imagination", said Asen.

Though relatively new, he is one artist that promises quite a lot and one young man that the rest of the world needs to watch out for in the coming years, that's for sure!
"I have a lot of projects lined up this year, after the 'body killer' video I am supposed to release an audio and a video at the same time.
" I am working on collaborations with different artists and building my brand this year so my fans should expect more from me", he said.
