Keabetswe shares her love for Tv

For this South African beauty, life is all about living in the moment and embracing every opportunity that life throws your way.
Talking to Urban Craft magazine, she gave us a clearer picture into her life, her love for tv and where her modelling career began.
Below is her story in her very own words..............

My name is Keabetswe Makgae. I am turning 24 years old on the 28th of september this year. Born and bred in a small town in Hammanskraal called Renstown. I am survived by both my mom and dad, my twin sister and little sister.
I completed my primary education at Itireleng primary school, which resides in Hammanskraal (Temba) and then went to start my grade 8 -12 (matric ) at F.H.Odendaal and I'm now at the University of Technology(TUT), to complete my tertiary education in Public Management (currently doing my 3rd year) .

Growing up in a kasi environment there were not that many opportunities or recreational structures so I spent most of my time watching tv, and that is how I fell in love with tv presenting.
I used to watch shows like Jam alley, YoTv etc and I told myself that ,one day I will Ialso be on the world's screens.
I had always told myself that I had charisma, confidence, passion and was fun. Everything I believed would make tv rates go up.
Back at the time, Gautv had wanted twin tv presenters ..I went and auditioned, we were successful until Top 8. I then saw the Mtv presenter search competition..I entered online but unfortunately my entry was not successful. I am hopeful that this new year will bring better fortunes for me and I will be able to realise this dream of mine.

I started modelling at a very tender age. I actually started participating in beauty peagents when I was still in primary school and high school (I was crowned 1st Princess at Hoerskool F.H.Odendaal).
I then came to Pretoria due to my studies where I joined Zero One Two entertainment and became their inhouse model. I did numerous events and photoshoots with them.
As an upcoming model I branched into being a video vixen just so that I could gain more exposure and experience.

My goal for 2018 is to grab every opportunity that comes my way with both hands. I am working on becoming one of the lucky models to walk on South African Fashion Week ramps.
I am also hoping to kickstart my make-up business and get it off the ground and lastly, complete my studies and hopefully graduate .
