Angelina Marie does justice to an Elvis Presley Classic

When American singer, Elvis Presley recorded his now famous hit, "Can't Help Falling in Love" never did he imagine the effect that the pop ballad would have on countless generations to come!

Credit has to go to Hugo Peretti, Luigi Creatore, and George David Weiss, for having written the song whose melody is based on "Plaisir d'amour", a popular 18th Century romance by Jean-Paul-Égide Martini.

Featured in Presley's 1961 film, Blue Hawaii, the song was, in the following decades, recorded by numerous other artists, including Tom Smothers, Swedish pop group A-Teens, and the British reggae group UB40, whose 1993 version topped the U.S. and UK charts.

Almost 60 years later, an emerging talent by the name of Angelina Marie has decided to give this timeless ballad a new lease of life. The singer/guitarist recently released her own rendition of Can't Help Falling In Love, one she is proud of and confident that she did justice to!
"My cover of "Can't Help Falling In Love" was inspired by the movie "The Conjuring 2". I enjoyed covering this song and I hope that everyone will enjoy my cover as much as I did recording it", said Angelina.

The young lady feels that she has come a long way and that it was time that the world took notice of her talents.
"I've come a long way since I first started posting cover songs, I currently have 2 singles out. "How It Feels" and "Guardian Angel". I would be very appreciative if everyone would check them out", she said.

Music was always something that Angelina was passionate about from an early age but never explored until, upon hearing her sing, her uncle encouraged her to pursue it professionally.
"I have always loved singing, playing guitar, and writing songs. But I never thought it would be possible to be a singer/songwriter because I never really knew how it all worked. But one day my uncle heard me singing the song "Treat You Better" by Shawn Mendes and was like do you know the song? and obviously I knew that song by heart. "So that is where the music making began and from there on out, my uncle taught me how to record my own music, and he helped me save up for my first guitar", said the singer/songwriter.

"I love my fans and all of the support from each and everyone of them. I love inspiring people", she added.
