The Evolution of Trill Cut

His career has been on a steady rise since he broke through the ranks a couple of years back. Though he is still relatively new to the industry, the rapper has shown a lot of maturity and has even gone to the extend of describing his music as a means "to motivate and inspire the youth and entrepreneurs of all ages and backgrounds..."

Miami based rapper Trill Cut retraced his footsteps in the game so far in a recent chat with Urban Craft.
"I attended the University of Florida and while in college, helped to form the rap group Blu Ray. Shortly after, we released The “Coota Brown Mixtape” on Datpiff ( http://www.datpiff.com/Blu-Ray-Coota-Brown-mixtape.398174.html).
"We performed at the Songwriters Composers Music Conference in Greensborough, North Carolina and also gained attention by participating in Young Jeezy’s music competition in 2011", said Trill Cut.

Despite the relative success with the group, the rapper decided to chart his own path. A decision that he is no doubt now in a position to reap benefits from.
"I started doing more solo shows in Gainesville before moving to Miami. I was doing maybe 3-4 shows a week just in the city and that let me know I had to move into a bigger pool.
"I also toured and performed in Gainesville’s M.A.D.E. Monday music series and Gainesville’s High Dive while soon after, gained national recognition by winning the Akademia Music Awards for Best Hip-Hop Funk Track for the song On My Way", he said.

With more shows and accolades coming his way, the skilled emcee even had a cameo in a film production! He capped off a very good year with the release of one of his most successful EPs back then, from which a couple of hits spawned from.
"I had a small role in the film, Room 236: Unlawful Justice in 2013 and quickly followed that up with the release of 'Underground Sounds' with tracks like #BreakUp Song and $hawty Bad ($he Do It) being the two notable singles released from that project", said the rapper.

Trill Cut's star continued to shine bright, not just in the United States but on the international scene as well.
"In 2015 I performed in the So Close Tour in Miami, FL and also performed with the teen sensation Silento (Watch Me [Whip/Nae Nae]), at the Youth Stunt Festival near Atlanta, Georgia. I took a little time to focus on my independent project 'The Heart Of Carbon', released New Year’s Eve 2016.
"The lead single 'Amerikkka' gained a lot of attention from Independent Artists, both international and in the US as quoted by Buddy Nelson of Jamsphere Independent Music Magazine 'witnessing the evolution of Trill from ‘Rush Hour’ to this latest track, has truly been a pleasurable experience'.

Trill Cut is managed by Lance “Traskz” Lowery of Traskz Entertainment Group in Orlando Florida and is currently working on his debut commercial album.
"In April, 2018 I released MMM - (Money Making Mission) on Strong Arm Radio and quickly won - over DJ Sco, with DJ Wild Man Teddy T quoted as saying 'You’ve got true fan support' and 'Every time the beat comes on..I'm like Wow' and Jacqueline Jax of AVA Live Radio 'I love this, the fact that you're promoting a very inspirational lifestyle through your music!', said the rapper.
