WiseRap Drops Double Disc Album

Uk rapper Paul Rafis is only days away from launching a double disc album titled 'Urban Myth' that ultimately lives up to his rap moniker 'WiseRap'. It is a work of art that goes a long way in celebrating the foundations of hiphop, more specifically, lyricism/barz and substance.

Looking at the bigger picture, his album is definitely a 'thumps up' for hiphop especially in this day and age where the 'trap' phenomena has virtually taken over.

'Urban Myth' also has quite a number of international collabos, among those being one with the famous US rap group, Junior M.A.F.I.A
"I have just finished working on my new double disc album "Urban Myth" (Revival X) due out end of june 2018, a great album of original UK hiphop with some cool features from Bishop Lamont, Mikey D, Biggz, Grand Surgeon and Junior M.A.F.I.A.
"The album was mainly produced by UK beatmaker E-Ratic Beats and an exclusive feature collabo and song from Jersey USA native Tr3ple 3z. A very iconic album for me and Uk full of great messages, bars and amazing quality", he said.

Being one of the few rappers to whom lyricism still matters, WiseRap gives the credit to some of hiphop's legendary names for helping him find his lyrical self.
"I'd have to say that my turning point in music was when I collaborated on official tracks with Queens legend Mikey D, west coast Legend Big Prodeje (Former Def Jam artist & Bishop Lamont (Former Aftermath Artist) as these 2 brothers really helped my lyrical abilities to step up and really make an impact. Prodeje would always try help me lyrically and bishop told me, 'up your quality if you wanna be taken seriously in this culture', So I did", said the hiphop artist.

With over 2 decades - worth of experience and having at one time sold 100 000+ physical copies of his own music in the streets, this is definitely not your 'ordinary' rapper.
"I'd say that my biggest achievement in life so far is being involved in music for 21 years, never quiting once and always using music to document all I have learnt and felt in my 34 years on this earth. To be able to distribute 100.000s of real physical cds on streets here in uk and sending many more overseas to collaborating with some of the best DJs and artists around is amazing!", said the emcee.

Not many people would be familiar with this chapter in his life but before his career took shape, the rapper worked a number of years as a butcher.
"I worked for many years as a butcher by trade. I'm a single father who is very proud of his family. A very honoured son and grateful for how I was brought up, I was raised on on a healthy diet of morals, principle with discipline.
"I grew up in a town called Kilburn in north west London, which is in the London borough or Camden and London borough of Brent as both councils govern our community housing, most of the land here is owned by the church, which rents out buildings so people can start up businesses to better there lives. Our community is very beautiful but also has its dark days, with multiple shootings and many bullys who thrive off bad energy and violence. This is where I believe WiseRap comes into play", he said.

The artist also wants to play his part in making sure that the UK hiphop scene is recognized, as well as its emcees for keeping the culture alive.
"My future goals are to land in New York and give djs new copies of my physical cds as well as distributing them locally, all in an effort to make sure that UK hiphop is honoured amongst the culture's greatest MCs", said Rafis
