Blizzy Ready to Showcase His True Potential

Having in recent times switched from hardcore rap to rnb/afro-pop, TALENT MANDIZIRA, otherwise known in the music circles as BLIZZY, an emerging Marondera- based musician sees himself finally in a great position to fulfil his full potential.
“With my new found love for rnb & afro, I see myself making great strides in the industry from here on”, said Blizzy, enthusiastically.

For someone who had spent most of his Juvenile age dreaming about one day becoming a melodious superstar, this is no doubt Mandizira’s dream come true.

The musician is also a talented songwriter and has been penning down his melodious raps since he was in Form 1.
“At one point in time I had to balance both my music passion and school. It was during that stage that my song writing took shape. It is an art that I hope will flourish immensely in the years to come”, he said.

By the age of 14 the Marondera-based artist had decided that he was going to pursue music as a career and that is around the same time that he recorded his first track called ‘PFUTI NDAKOKA’, a track that he described as being ‘hardcore hip-hop trap’.
“As early as 2106, I started formally recording tracks and acquired quite a reasonable following but mostly in Local schools. I managed to drop tracks like "PFUTI NDAKOKA (Hip hop),Miss You (RnB), Mahaters ft Nasty (hip-hop), Ksazobalit remake (hip-hop), Mwana weMnana (Afro trap), Bad gal ft Pondem (Afro pop) ,Kangoma keRudo ft K-zhacks &Mayree (Afro pop), Changes ft Dikela, RueKayz & Simba jay (hip-hop) among others”, said the artist.

The musician, who is inspired by the likes of Laylizzy, Tantowavie, Scripmula, Natasha MUZ, A-reece,Emtee and Mbadabriss is in the process of putting together an EP that he said would feature some of the more recognizable names in the hip-hop and afro-pop scenes.
“I just want to be someone, who is, more than anything else, humble and loyal to his career. I am all about trying out new things and surprising my fans. I hope to work with every eMCee to bring good music to the people in Zimbabwe and abroad.
“For now my main focus is however working on a 6-track EP that I chose to title ‘NEW FUTURE’ that I hope will feature some of the established names in local hip-hop and afropop industries, the likes of SCRIP MULA, BEAV CITY, MAJOR MILLZ, RueKayz, Dikela, Simba jay, TantoWavie, to mention but a few. I promise it's going to be ‘legit’ and it will be dropping on the market as soon as we are done with it”, said Blizzy.
