For Baguio City, Philippines music producer Jethro Sandico, the goal is to challenge yourself to get better with each new day and keep pushing those artistic boundaries, of course!
“My main motivation is to get better at what I do all the time, not just to create enjoyable music, but to create/produce music for different purposes, whether it's for the dance floor or film, and I want to learn so much more, the gathering of knowledge must never stop. Equally, the sharing of knowledge shall continuously flow as well.
“I haven't been doing music professionally for quite some time now, even though the industry has been fairer to me in recent years when it comes to compensation, I prefer doing projects that will push artistic boundaries such as forming this jazz/hiphop ensemble called Skydive Academy or delving into unknown electronic music territory. I also created an audiovisual show called "Algoritmo" which introduced a few amazing young artists that my humble hometown can offer to the world”, said Jethro in a chat with Urban Craft magazine all the way from his base in the Philippines.

The musician/producer took the same opportunity to announce that a lot was in store for the remainder of 2019, starting with a brand new EP whose release is imminent.
“I am going to release a new Hiroshi Armor EP this July, The EP is titled Wolf City pt. 1 and is inspired by cyberpunk films and industrial music. I have just upgraded my home studio and I have a lot of projects lined up, so I'm gonna be busy till early next year”, said Jethro.

Sandico gave us a brief but insightful look into his career, highlighting a few memorable moments as well.
“I play different instruments and I make electronic music under my solo project Hiroshi Armor, and I rap as well. I am more of an independent artist, although I have spent a considerable amount of time in the music business doing many things such as performing, organizing shows, owning a little studio or producing music.
“Performing in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and collaborating with artists from USA, Russia and Australia are some of my most memorable moments in my life as a musician for the past couple of decades”, he said.
