Theodore Roosevelt once said 'Do what you can, with what you have, where you are'. Noone else believes in this quote and follows ...

"As a
life coach, I am there to provide guidance to those who want to reach specific
targets/goals but might be having difficulty doing so on their own.
"To be
a life coach one has to know a lot about goals and how to attain them, you have
to be well-aware of the needs and be able to cater for those seeking your help
through referral services or personal references", Leah explained.
We asked her
as to what inspired this particular career choice and where it all started.
" The
past that I had did lead me to being one. I started out pretty early, while I
was still in school actually. I was young but very active in talking to and
encouraging other people to follow what they believed in.
"I saw
most people suffering, unequipped with knowledge and skills so I decided that I
needed to give back to my community through life coaching and help my fellow
man and woman exhaust their full potential", she said.
There is
nothing more rewarding than giving back and seeong the results of how your
efforts made a difference in someone else's life and Leah can attest to this.
"I
remember when I was standing in front of an audience rendering words of
encouragement to abused women who are fighting against gender based violence so
that they can be able to make something out of themselves.
" In
that moment, I felt more fulfilled than I have ever been in my life, for, it is
in that moment that I realized that I was exactly where I was supposed to be
and doing exactly what I was supposed to", said Leah.
Thokwane
believes that, though not fully-embraced among Africans, life coaching can be very effective in
building minds and inculcating a new culture and environment where goal-getters
flourish.
"From
my own experiences I have seen first hand what change life coaching brings to
not only an individual but society as a whole.
"A lot
has changed in the lives of people and the communities that we have been
working with. Their feedback has been positive.
" The majority
of these people are now happier, not only thankful but fearless too as they
move a step closer to fulfilling their goals", she said.
Leah
describes herself as loving, hyper, energetic and caring young mother who was
born in Sebokeng (Vaal), raised in Pretoria and currently living in
Orange-Farm. A dedicated woman, who is on a mission to uplift and embrace this
gift called life.
The life
coach is also passionate about music, fashion and drawing, all of which she
feels, defines her as a whole.
She hopes to
one day host a talk show of her own which she hopes will go a long way in
spreading positivity and keeping hope alive, all of which, she herself strongly
believes in.
"Live
positively in any situation so that you can stand tall and win with a positive
attitude because in this life we live, we have to face and overcome a lot so we
need to keep hope and faith alive", she said.
