"Stop questioning God why you got two eyes and one vision/
why you kicking so hard yet I'm the one winning/
hip hop angels are smiling down with my nude cover/
99% of you cats thought I was sinning/

This is how veteran mc and lyricist Mc Tytoh ushers us into his world of sick word play, metaphors and punchlines on his much awaited single 'REGICIDE' (the act of killing a king). The single was released on the 1st of March and had created quite a lot of anticipation in the underground circles in South Africa and Zimbabwe after a snipet of the track, whose intro was the voice of South African legend HHP was leaked.

Lyrics to this scotcher circulated on social media so much that the question on everyone`s lips is, who angered 'uncle mc tytoh?', as he is affectionately known in the streets of kingsville (Bulawayo). The record is filled with serious jabs but we are yet to assertain the intended target.

"Jesus wake up their Lazurus, watch him salute me, they bow to a grave is that crown buried too"
That's a line in the middle of the first verse, excuse me for thinking this could be a subliminal at the late Kingpinn, who is regarded as one of, if not the most talented emcee that the local hiphop industry has ever seen.

Metaphors on well constructed lines, mature delivery on a boom bap beat, this track makes you nostaligic and takes you back to the era of "Second Round Knockout' by Canibus. With King Krued on the beat, Mc Tytoh goes on a warpath as the track progresses.

"I came to end careers all I'm getting are aids patients/ where them cats who say they run this, I'm running out of patience"

In 2016 the hiphop year started with Jnr Brown releasing WE RUN IT, could that missile be aimed at the 'Ma drinks' hitmaker by any chance?
"Hiphop is an expressive genre and I'm one person who is not shy to put pen to pad and spit my syllables as long as I feel its relevant and politicaly correct with my target market in mind. This track wasnt written with any individual in mind but I spoke on behalf of a lot of the old school rappers who are not happy with the current state of affairs in the game where everyone is 'kinging' and anyone just wakes up crowning these fake kings with their awards", said Mc Tytoh.
"There are a lot of things artists are scared to say on records but keep making conversations about them behind closed doors and a lot of emcees can relate to the content of this record and echoe my sentiments", adds one of Kingsville`s finest.

This controversial single is taken off the album 'ITS NOT RAP ITS ART', which has taken 3 years to complete and comes after a full year of downtime on the mic for Mc Tytoh who spent the year on production and filming videos for a host of artists in Soweto and capetown.

Mc Tytoh is a Bulawayo born hiphophead whose career dates back to the late 90s, his professional career kicked off in 1999 when his first ever recording was played on radio and made a number of appearances on the teenage magazine show 'Teen Scene'.
Mc Tytoh went on to establish himself as a major player in the hiphop industry venturing into production and filmmaking. To date he has credits on works of some of the most successful rappers in the country, a list that includes P.O.Y, Sykotek (2016 Zimhiphop Awards, Best Underground winner), Thorne (Rapperholix), Naboth Rizzla (Grapevine), Cal_vin, Prozac, Orthodox Six (Kingsville clothing), Teeko Lugoobrious (see no evil), Doc Freezy (2015 Best Underground winner) and Daddy Geez, to mention but a few.

Currently working in between Capetown and Jo`burg, Mc Tytoh runs Boom Beats records in the crime infested neighborhood of Hillbrow in Jozi and is also the creative director at Overdoze Music in Capetown .
