If there's one truth, it's that the music industry keeps you on your toes! As an artist, you constantly have to be 'doing this or doing that' and there's very little time to wallow on past accomplishments, you are only as good as your next project!
French electro pop singer EMK, aka Emmanuelle Musikeys who has just successfully launched a brand new EP is one artist who seems to have figured this out.
Her 6 track project titled ELECTRIC WAY is the singer's second EP and has done reasonably well for her on the market so far but she is definitely not allowing herself to  get lost in the moment...she is already lining up her follow-up projects.
"I am currently conceptualizing the next video clip of the UP&DOWN cover which is taken off the new EP ELECTRIC WAY. I am very proud of this work and I am really looking forward putting it on video.
"Apart from that I worked on a feature with the artist TIBO NEVIL, who launch, in September, his concept album called OPALINE. We are really excited to unveil it! By the way it is called JADE. I am also working on a few features with other DJs but it is just the beginning. And finally, I am thinking about putting out a third CD by the end of 2019.
"I also recently launched 2 video clips, then 2 singles: MADNESS and WE ARE. It was quite a challenge because we had to produce them both with Romain Plessy, the producer, inside 3 days.
"Thanks to that I launched a remix EP from the MADNESS cover: remixed by Ti Punch & Clemshy available on Youtube", she said.

With two successful EPs to her name already, the picturesque 27 year old has gone a long way in establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with. For a brief moment, she took us to where and how her amazing story began.
"Why the music industry? because I don't just like music, I'm inhabited by it. When I was 18 years old, we created a rock band with a few musicians’ friends of mine. Later, the bass player of the band launched his music label and encouraged me to follow him as a composer. 5 years later, I launched my first auto produced EP, STAND UP, and I decided to never stop. Despite the difficulties, I am still doing it today hence the name of the new EP, ELECTRIC WAY", said EMK.

EMK is right at home when she is on stage doing what she loves the most and is thankful for all the people she meets and has encountered over the years, whether good or bad. The singer also highlights some of her most cherished moments along the way.
"I think that the key moments come directly from the moments of intense happiness that we can feel by doing music. The feelings are really strong. When, on stage, you face your audience for the first time. When you launch you first EP after long years of research, work and introspection you are giving a part of yourself to the fans.
"My journey in the music industry is mostly driven by the people I met, sometime the wrong ones, and most of the time the good ones that help you get ahead. Today I am very proud to have had the opportunity to sing at "La Boule Noire" (Paris), a legendary stage. I was delighted to work with a very talented team there, they believed in me and they just wanted to support me. Together we did great things on the day when we went on stage. Such things help you to fight and to persevere in the industry.
"I had the opportunity to perform in the best Parisian places such as the Chalet des iles, the Bus Palladium, the International, and last but not least the Boule Noire. But I feel also very lucky to be accompanied on stage by two wonderful musicians, Jimmy Tillier on the keyboard, and Jeremy Tripogney on drums. They are precious to me, and I appreciate especially their mindset, always move forward no matter what happens", she said the electro pop singer.

Emmanuelle Musikeys wants, more than anything else, to keep learning, surrounding herself with positive infuences and putting out more beautiful music.
"I am mainly hoping to keep on learning by meeting people, difficulties or successes, in order to always follow the good path. It is a difficult industry and we never win a war alone.
"I am better and better surrounded nowadays and for all the people who believe in me I will give my very best and do my best to touch the hearts of my listeners. This is my main goal actually, and I will always enjoy meeting and sharing with the people who like my music", she said.
