Brooklyn’s own, RnB singer Nathaniel, is relentlessly proving that his borough breeds more than just great hip hop acts. Aside from adding songwriter and producer to his arsenal, Musiq Soulchild, Usher and Donny Hathoway were some of his musical influences.

Giving contemporary RnB a fresh sound, blending hip hop and neo-soul makes it safe to say that Nathaniel’s talents are very unique.

Raised by a single mother of seven, in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene housing projects, singing in church and performing in plays were ritual early on. Before you knew it, a star was born. In the year 2000, Nathaniel made his first attempt toward a singing career in five man group. 2 of which were friends and 2 of his brothers. 8 years later, Nathaniel and his 2 brothers would find themselves forming a group of their own - “Mr. Peterson”. Interestingly enough, Mr. Peterson received the Urban Threshold’s Underground Music Award for Best Male R&B Group later that year.

As Nathaniel’s passion and motivation for success grew, Mr. Peterson would soon fizzle out. Nathaniel then made the decision to pursue a solo career, taking matters into his own hands. “Flynate Music Group” was then launched with Nathaniel as founder and CEO. Since 2010, Nathaniel’s vocals have been featured on projects with French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, Dj Khaled, Swizz Beats and Remy Ma to name a few. With new projects on the horizon, Nathaniel is gearing up to stake his claim, well deserved spot in the music game.
